My blog on the music of Hindi films that released between 2000 and 2009 contains posts on three songs from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004).
The fourth
song from the film, spread across my blogs, was Lal Dupatta.
Five
minutes and 14 seconds long, (Ud)it was rendered by Alka Yagnik and Mr Narayan.
And there’s no two ways about the fact that only they could have done it
justice.
I wish I
had included it in tribute to Wajid, who composed the song with Sajid.
It was
lyricist Arun Bhairav’s only contribution to the film’s soundtrack.
