Koi Fariyaad, from the 2001 film Tum Bin, was considered as one of the finest ghazals in the history of Hindi film music.
By no means
would it be incorrect to state that it was also one of the most underrated
ghazals.
And it was
rendered by Jagjit Singh, who was one of the most renowned exponents of that
genre.
The track,
which was penned by Faaiz Anwar, was composed by Nikhil-Vinay.
Singh also
sang Teri Fariyaad with Rekha Bhardwaj. It was from Tum Bin 2,
which released in 2016 (five years after he died).
